Welcome to Western Youth Sports Education (WYSE). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website, participation in our programs, and interactions with our services. By accessing our website or enrolling in our programs, you agree to comply with these terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.
1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By using the WYSE website, registering for a program, or engaging with our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. WYSE reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
2. ELIGIBILITY
WYSE programs are open to youth participants between the ages of 5 and 18, as well as volunteers, coaches, and supporters. Parents or legal guardians must register and provide consent for minors participating in any program.
3. PROGRAM REGISTRATION & PARTICIPATION
A. Registration Process
- Participants must complete the registration form and provide accurate personal details.
- Registration fees, if applicable, must be paid before participation is confirmed.
- WYSE reserves the right to deny or revoke participation if false information is provided.
B. Code of Conduct
- All players, parents, and coaches must demonstrate respect, sportsmanship, and fair play.
- Any form of bullying, harassment, discrimination, or violence will not be tolerated.
- WYSE reserves the right to suspend or remove participants for violating conduct guidelines.
C. Cancellations & Refunds
- Registration fees are non-refundable unless a program is canceled by WYSE.
- Refund requests due to medical or personal reasons will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
- If a participant is removed due to a violation of these Terms, no refund will be issued.
4. SAFETY & LIABILITY
A. Assumption of Risk
Participation in sports involves physical activity and potential risks of injury. By enrolling in WYSE programs, you acknowledge and accept these risks and agree that WYSE is not responsible for injuries sustained during participation.
B. Medical Emergencies
- Parents/guardians must provide emergency contact information during registration.
- In the event of an emergency, WYSE staff may seek necessary medical treatment for a participant.
- WYSE is not liable for medical expenses incurred due to injuries or illnesses.
C. Insurance
WYSE does not provide medical or accident insurance. It is the responsibility of participants and their families to ensure they have appropriate coverage.
5. PAYMENT TERMS
- All payments for registrations, donations, and sponsorships must be completed through WYSE’s approved payment methods.
- WYSE is not responsible for unauthorized transactions or fraudulent activities made outside our official channels.
- Late payments may result in cancellation of participation in WYSE programs.
6. PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION
WYSE respects your privacy. Any personal information provided will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- We collect and store participant information only for program administration and safety purposes.
- We do not sell, share, or rent personal data to third parties.
- By registering for a program, you consent to occasional communication from WYSE about upcoming events and updates.
7. MEDIA CONSENT & USE OF IMAGES
- WYSE may capture photos and videos during events and programs for promotional and educational purposes.
- By participating, you grant WYSE permission to use these images in marketing materials, social media, and website content.
- If you do not wish to have your or your child’s image used, you must submit a written request to info@wysedu.org.
8. WEBSITE USE & CONTENT
- All content on the WYSE website—including text, logos, images, and videos—is the property of WYSE and is protected by copyright laws.
- You may not copy, distribute, or reproduce WYSE materials without written permission.
- Unauthorized use of our website for fraudulent activities, hacking, or spam is strictly prohibited.
9. TERMINATION OF SERVICES
WYSE reserves the right to:
- Suspend or terminate access to our website or programs if a user violates these Terms & Conditions.
- Remove any participant, volunteer, or coach who fails to uphold WYSE’s values of respect, fairness, and integrity.
- Discontinue programs or modify services at any time without prior notice.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
- WYSE is not responsible for injuries, damages, or losses resulting from participation in our programs or use of our website.
- We do our best to ensure the safety and security of all participants, but participation is at the individual’s own risk.
- WYSE is not liable for cancellations due to weather, facility closures, or other unforeseen circumstances.
11. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in accordance with Washington state laws.
